This Privacy Policy explains how Anchor40 collects, uses, shares, stores and protects personal information when you visit anchor40.com, make a purchase, contact us, join a community, register for an offering, submit a prayer request or testimony, or otherwise interact with Anchor40.

7. Payment information

Payments may be handled by PayFast or another approved payment provider. Complete card or banking details are ordinarily entered into the provider’s secure environment and are not intentionally stored by Anchor40.

Anchor40 may receive limited payment information such as payment status, amount, date, transaction reference, payer name and details required to fulfil an order or process a refund.

8. Cookies and analytics

The Website may use essential cookies for security, shopping-cart functions, sessions and basic operation. It may also use preference, performance or analytics cookies to understand Website use and improve services.

11. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide services, maintain required records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.

When information is no longer authorised or required to be retained, it will be securely deleted, destroyed, de-identified or placed beyond use, as appropriate.

No electronic system is completely secure. Please protect your passwords, avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information by ordinary email and notify info@anchor40.com if you suspect a compromise.

Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification, you may ask Anchor40 to:

  • provide access to or a description of that information;
  • correct or update inaccurate, irrelevant, excessive, outdated, incomplete or misleading information;

  • stop direct-marketing communication.

14. Direct marketing

Anchor40 will send electronic marketing only where permitted by law. Marketing messages will identify the sender and provide a simple method to opt out. You may unsubscribe through the message or by emailing info@anchor40.com.

Service messages concerning an order, account, security issue or policy change are not marketing and may still be sent where necessary.

15. Children

The Website is not designed for a child to make an online purchase or create an account without appropriate parent or guardian involvement. If we learn that a child’s personal information was collected without lawful authority, we will take reasonable steps to address or delete it.

16. Prayer requests, testimonies and community content
